Mary Rose received her First Holy Communion today.
It was very special to have this sacrament on the beautiful feast of the Visitation. The rains held off and the roses were in full bloom at the church this morning.
Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him" (John 6:53–56).
May Our Lord, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, keep you close to Himself always.
Soul of Christ, sanctify me

Water from Christ's side, wash me
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
O good Jesus, hear me
Within Thy wounds hide me
Suffer me not to be separated from Thee
