Here is one of our favorite Christmas CD's: Eventide Lullaby by Seasons.
We are just a little biased as the musicians are friends of ours, fellow homeschoolers who also happen to be very talented. The group Seasons is made up of Mary Kate, Mary Teresa and Peter, siblings who together make lovely music on the harp, hammered dulcimer, and drums (and yes they have two more sisters named Mary). The music performed is all of their own arrangements with a couple of original songs that beautifully complement the familiar carols. They are also joined by their cousins with vocals and violin on several songs. The CD was produced and professionally recorded by Martin Doman, and he lends his rich vocals to a few of the songs as well.
The harp and hammered dulcimer are beautiful sounding instruments, just perfect for enriching beloved Christmas carols. You can visit the Seasons website to listen to clips of all of the songs, and CD's can be ordered from there as well. You may just want to treat yourself to this lovely collection of Christmas music.
