Oh dear! I'm so sorry I forgot to list the sugar amount in the pumpkin cake recipe below! I have edited the post so it now includes the 1 1/2 cups of sugar. Please pardon my error and I hope no one tried to make it without any sugar, though if you did just think of Laura Ingalls' pie or call it Pumpkin Penance Cake and be sure to blame it all on me!
