Well we're on day two now!
So far so good. We're not behind yet.
Here is my favorite animal- Eastern Bluebird. Red-tailed Hawks used to be my favorite, but my Red-tails deserted me, so their place has been usurped.
There are five bluebird houses in our yard and every year we usually have a pair nest in them. This year one pair of birds had three clutches (two were successful). Also we've got a bluebird feeder so the year's kids have been staying around for free meals. I have been liking the blues more and more since spring! The one I've painted though is not one of 'my' bluebirds; I can tell her apart by her lighter colouring. This is a young foreigner, and our third clutch boys are always chasing her away.
Here is Anna's, a whole big picture! This is very unusual. The horse is going right. We have a theory that right-handed people make left-going horses and vice versa, and at the beginning of this blog we said we liked Horses Going Left. But now she's put this one the other way which astonished several people:
Whew, at least someone's favorite was a horse; we almost lost our reputation as likers-of-horses.
Here's Mary Rose's, a tabby kitten with a red leather collar. She says its the cat she's going to have when she's grown up. She took a fancy to it when she read James Herriot's The Christmas Day Kitten. It's rather nice as she rarely draws animals:
This is a jolly challenge, so far! And tomorrow it's food...
