Happy is also courtesy of my husband - he secretly ordered these mugs for all of the girls for Christmas gifts featuring their own artwork and/or photos. That's Lydia's Keep Calm, Anna's Make Tea, Mary Rose's Aragorn (from before she got all WWII headed), Eliza herself, and Kateri's book cover from her Na No novel.
They have pictures on the back too! Eliza has Our Lady and Kateri has some photos.
Lydia's has some bird ATC's and a wee St. Felix and Mary Rose's has a St. Michael she did.
These mugs are in almost constant use in this cold weather, with 'hot milks' being one of our favorite drinks. Put a spoon of molasses (the definition of 'spoon' is a matter of taste) in your cup and fill it part way with boiling water from the kettle, and then top it off with milk. I like mine with mostly water and maybe a quarter skim milk, whereas for the little ones I use mostly whole milk and just enough hot water to warm the milk to a pleasing temperature. The nice thing about them is you can drink them all day without worry of caffeine, and made with blackstrap molasses they are quite good for you.
See how happy it is to see them in use!
