What lovely pictures! I can't wait to try toasting marshmallows over a candle- does it really work?? Do they have to be mini marshmallows? And how did you take the final photo? Camera balancing act I think!

Margaret in Minnesota

Ha! Funny how my first response was exactly that of Rachel: SUCH lovely photos! My favorite, were I to HAVE to choose, would be the roasting-marshmallows-on-the-tines-of-a-fork one...would never have thought of that although now, I *will*.

(Can I claim it as my own?)

(My kids would think I was the coolest ever.)

Happy Thanksgiving, two days out! :)

Jasmine

Such lovely photos. A beautiful life, friend.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Blessings,

Jasmine

Those pies look scrumptious.

Love your pictures. I'd love to know how the candle toasted marshmallows worked out.

Aww! Happy Thanksgiving friends! LOVE the pictures!

Kathy

Loved the pictures! Esp. the marshmallow one! We had a lovely Thanksgiving! And had all of our children and our new daughter-in-law under one roof for a few days. Lots of good food, music, laughter and love!

What a wonderful post. You all seem so content, despite what I'm sure was a lot of goings on in the kitchen.

Today

  • Remember, O Christian soul, that thou hast this day, and every day of thy life: God to glorify - Jesus to imitate - The Angels and Saints to invoke - A soul to save - A body to mortify - Sins to expiate - Virtues to acquire - Hell to avoid - Heaven to gain - Eternity to prepare for - Time to profit by - Neighbors to edify - The world to despise - Devils to combat - Passions to subdue - Death perhaps to suffer - Judgment to undergo.
