Just a little update on the For All the Saints artist trading card swap. I've extended the deadline a bit as some folks just found out about the swap and would like to participate. So if you've been thinking about joining you still have a little time - just shoot me an email if you are interested. My children don't like me to show the cards they plan on trading, but here's one Anna made for her dad, just to whet your appetite-
Piles of cards have been landing in our mailbox everyday - it's very exciting! My girls love to run out to fetch the day's arrivals, although we won't open any of them until we get them all.
But yesterday we received this envelope that apparently got stuck in the postal machine and ripped. I was quite concerned about it as the envelope was rather shredded and almost torn in half - little ATC's could easily slip out through the large gap. I thought of our friend Anthony, who told my girls they should always write 'S.A.G.' on their mail, short for St. Anthony Guide, so that through his intercession their mail would always arrive safely and not get lost. But alas, this envelope had no 'S.A.G.' on the back, and I feared the worst.
However, I was delightfully surprised as I pulled out the cards from the remains of the envelope to find all twenty five were there! I thought this was amazing, as I also found a letter inside the envelope from the mom, and that too was torn almost entirely in half:
So you can imagine how big the grin was on my face when I opened the letter and found this:
Thank you, St. Anthony!

Thank you for this wooonderful blog. Sharing your family activities and talents is inspirational to me. I have found so many beautiful ideas, and I hope to be able, with God's grace to imitate your love for Him!

Thanks Kimberlee for this little reminder- yes, " St Ant", as we call him, is a good friend in heaven. I remembered to commend my mailing to his prayers; I felt it was especially important as our mailing is coming to you from over the pond!
Glad to hear the swap is going well.

I'm so happy St. Anthony came through for us again. Awhile ago, I lost my wedding ring, placing it in a votive candle on the top edge of the stove, when I remembered it, it was gone. I asked St. Anthony for help and looked for it around the stove several times, but never found it. Later, our kitchen floor was replaced and my husband was cleaning the back of the stove; he found my wedding ring on a ledge in the back. The day? June 13th!
