I need some milkweed pods for a craft, and I never see them in the wild. Yay for you - hopefully you won't have any trouble finding more next year. Hope they bring you lots winged beauty.

The nicest flowers I ever received from Tim were a bouquet of milkweed blossoms for our hungry monarch caterpillars we hatched when the older kids were young. We had run out and I called Tim and wondered if he might bring some home from the park...? It was late at night and he went out with a flashlight in a suit and slogged through a swamp to get them for us. Our caterpillars survived and we got to watch the entire cycle. :)
BTW, our meeting with our priest re: confirmation options went great. :)
